Maximum achievement is a good book to read for personal development.
In this post I want to write about Brian Tracy’s book Maximum Achievement. I borrowed mine in a local library, because I read a lot. It’s a good book to read for everyone. But I would really recommend it, if you are passionate about intentional living and personal development.
I really liked reading this book. Because it has instructions and plan for the reader to follow. The reader can improve his or hers thinking by applying one step at a time into their daily routines. It is a book about motivation, concentration, finding yourself out, how to build better relationships with people, how to succeed in life, why are life goals so important, how does your mind work and much more.
In the first chapter he talks about seven things which will lead you to success. You need a constant work on this seven parts. If you achieve the best of them, you’ll find happiness.
- Peace of mind
- Health and energy
- Loving relationships
- Financial independence
- Respectful goals and ideals
- Self-knowledge and self-awareness
- Personal fulfillment
Further more, in another chapter it gives us some instructions how to battle the negative mind. He explains seven ways how we can control our minds. And turning our thoughts into “machine for achievement of our goals”.
Seven ways to control our thinking:
- Positive claims
- Word expression
- Playing the role
- Feeding your mind
- Socializing with positive people
- Learning others
Moreover, in the book you can find explanation how to make a good plan for achieving any of your goals, which goals are the important one, and how to determine them. Also how to find your own “why”, how your conscious and unconscious mind works and finding out your negative habits. There are a few chapters about “reprogramming” your own thoughts and a chapter about power of love and loving relationships.
